Except where indicated, tickets: $10 / $8 concession / $5 Thursday matinée.
(concession card holders will be required to show evidence of their concession on ticket purchase)

Free film each month to be selected by the NFSA and will be noted in the Arc calendar (from May), the What’s On e-Newsletter and at the Box Office.  Current Max Pass must be presented at the time of booking to redeem your free ticket.

Doors open for ticket sales and Arc's pre-show program 30 minutes before screening.

Admission is according to classification, and is 18+ except where classification is shown.

There is a complete hearing aid loop in the Arc Cinema, designed to cover the entire seating area. (We also have a hearing aid loop in the NFSA’s smaller Theatrette, which also covers the complete seating area.)

While every effort is made to provide accurate information, the NFSA reserves the right to alter, without notice, advertised Arc screening programs or starting times.

Admission is to venue capacity only, with no food or drink allowed inside the cinema.
No admission after the session has been running for 20 minutes.

The NFSA reserves the right to refuse admission.

ADVANCE SALES OF ARC AND OUTDOOR CINEMA TICKETS

Terms and Conditions

Arc and Outdoor cinema tickets are available for sale from Monday of that week (eg: Saturday 4.30pm tickets can be purchased any time from 9am Monday, but tickets cannot be purchased on Saturday for the next Saturday).  Check with the NFSA Box Office/Reception for availability dates.

Tickets can be purchased from the NFSA Box Office/Reception, and over the phone with credit card only.

Tickets must be paid for at the time of booking.

Advanced telephone bookings are available from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday.  Please note:  if the NFSA Box Office/Reception is busy when you call, we will take your number and call you back.  Please be prepared for this possibility before scheduled Arc screenings when we are attending to incoming cinema patrons.

Tickets from telephone bookings can be collected from the NFSA Box Office/Reception 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday, and before Arc screenings.

Pre-purchased tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.  Once collected, they are the responsibility of the patron.

Max Pass tickets can be reserved over the phone, but must be picked up 15 minutes prior to screening or will be resold.

Advanced tickets are not allocated seating.  Strictly ‘first-in-best-dressed’ for best seating.  Please ensure you arrive in adequate time prior to screening to get your favourite seat (recommended: 15 minutes prior to Arc cinema screenings; 1 hour prior to Outdoor screenings).

TICKET REFUNDS

All Arc cinema and Outdoor Season tickets can only be refunded up to 20 minutes after the feature begins. We cannot refund after this point. This applies to both Advance Sales and tickets brought at the time of the session.
